World Environment Day Celebration

Our World Environment Day Celebration is a joyful and purposeful community event marking the United Nations' global day of environmental action. The morning begins with a nature walk, bird-watching session, and a guided tour of local green spaces led by naturalists who help participants rediscover the ecological richness in their immediate surroundings. An art competition for children centered on environmental themes produces stunning work displayed in a community gallery.

The afternoon program features talks on climate science, waste management, and urban ecology, followed by a hands-on session on making compost at home and setting up terrace gardens. Local environmental NGOs set up stalls presenting their conservation projects, and visitors can sign up as volunteers or donors to support ongoing initiatives protecting the natural habitats surrounding our community.
